The Technology Department is dedicated to ensuring students are able to use technology successfully now and in the future. Our curriculum from elementary through high school has these main focuses:

1. To teach students.
2. the skills they need to keep up with the rapid pace of technological changes
3. to think critically, creatively and independently
4. to use technology to solve real world problems

Today's students must have certain skills and be comfortable with certain applications, which we cover in our courses; however, the proficiencies required of them change quickly. By focusing on higher order thinking skills and fostering independent inquiry, we are equipping students to be able to adapt and learn as technology changes. We have built our curriculum to integrate into the curriculum of other academic courses, so that technical skills are not learned in isolation but technology is seen as a tool to solve problems in other disciplines.

We believe that what we teach not only prepares students for today's challenges but will lead them into the future.
