Procedures

We will follow these procedures in the event that it becomes necessary to close school.

• We will not have school if the Venezuelan government mandates that schools be closed.
• We will give notice of school closing as early as we can by placing relevant information on the homepage of the school's website. Additional information will be placed in this section of the website.
• Faculty will attempt to call students using the CIC phone tree. If you move or change your email address and/or phone number, please contact the school by email or phone (945-0444) so that we can keep our records up-to-date. Parents of Elementary School students should contact Claudia Ramirez (ramirezc@ciccaracas.com.ve). Secondary School parents should contact Liseth Patiño (patinol@ciccaracas.com.ve).
• If you do not have access to the Internet, you can telephone your child's teacher (Elementary School, N-5) or advisor (Secondary School, 6-12).

Homework

Teachers will post homework in this section of the website. Homework will be saved in standard formats such as RTF or PDF. Most word processing programs such as MS Word or MS Works can view RTF formatted files. To view PDF files you need a program such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. This program is installed on most computers. You can also download it for free from the Adobe website.

If you do not have access to the Internet, you should telephone your child's teachers to get homework assignments.
